We prided ourselves on putting together a varied programme of talented artists, including groups, duos and solo performers from all corners of the UK and beyond! What more could you ask? Two full weekends a year when you could enjoy brilliant music, a great range of real ales and whether you want to go walking or simply sit and enjoy - the most beautiful scenery in the country!
There were no tickets or admission charges. This was a friendly FREE Festival, but we did ask that you support our charities by buying raffle tickets and throwing money in the buckets. All the money raised went to support 2 vital emergency services – The Lake District Mountain Rescue Search Dogs and the Great North Air Ambulance.
Since its revival in 2008 we have raised over £55,000 for the charities and the festival went from strength to strength.
